Economic Development Committee

Mission Statement

The Economic Development Committee (EDC) encourages the growth of existing businesses as well as the development of new enterprises throughout Rockport. Using a combination of advertising, promotion, targeted advocacy and informational offerings, the EDC seeks to stimulate new ways for all business sectors to recognize and access opportunities unique to the local community.

Current programs include focused advertising in selected travel publications, accessing North of Boston via the web/trade shows and an ongoing lecture series, to premiere with a discussion of business incubators in January 2006.
