Town of Rockport

In May 1987, the Rockport Select Board created an ad hoc committee to identify, mark, maintain and protect access to public property and public rights of way over private property. In March of 1989, at the Rockport Town Meeting, a permanent Rights of Way (ROW) Committee was established by an overwhelming vote.

The ROW Committee is appointed by the Select Board for three-year terms. The ROW Committee is fortunate to be assisted by a number of hard-working associate members. We also thank our many volunteers.

The ROW Committee meets on the fourth Monday of every month at 7:00 PM at Town Hall, Conference Room A, and invites the public to participate.
