Town of Rockport

The Treasurer/Collector's office is responsible for the billing, collecting and investing of all town funds including real estate taxes, personal property taxes, motor vehicle excise taxes, water/sewer fees and mooring fees.

The Treasurer/Collector's office is also responsible for all municipal borrowings, issuing the payroll for Town employees, managing employee benefits, reconciling all bank accounts, managing trust funds and persuing the collection of delinquent taxes.

Wednesday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm

There is also a Lockbox inside the back door of Town Hall for after hours payments.

The staff of the Treasurer/Collector's office will perform the duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the statutory requirements of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and will maintain, at all times, a courteous and respectful attitude towards the taxpayers and the public in general.
