Watershed Protection Committee

The Watershed Protection Committee (WPC) was initially formed in 2002. The committee, which is appointed by the DPW Commissioners, was created to undertake project reviews, education and outreach, pursue grant opportunities as well as other activities related to ensuring stewardship for Rockport’s municipal drinking water resources. The WPC offers assistance to other boards and committies on permit applications and projects that could involve impacts to drinking water supply and associated watersheds as defined by the Rockport Zoning Map.
